Wabi Sanji is my channel for learning Japanese by playing games in Japanese, plus whatever else I'm playing or building that day. I stream on Twitch, and each stream is cut into episodes and Shorts for YouTube.
The post-stream tool
"WabiSanji" is also the name of a small tool I wrote for my own use. It runs on my own computer and turns a stream recording into YouTube episodes and Shorts: it finds where each game starts and ends, transcribes the audio, suggests clips, and writes titles, descriptions and chapters. I review and approve every video and its text before anything goes up.
The tool connects to my own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API to find my uploads and, once approved by Google, to upload my approved videos as private or scheduled, set their thumbnails and add them to playlists. It only ever acts on my channel, I'm the only person who signs in to it, and it isn't offered to anyone else.
