WabiSanji privacy policy
Effective 13 October 2026
WabiSanji is a personal tool that runs on my own computer and helps me publish my own stream recordings to my own YouTube channel, Wabi Sanji. It is not a public app or service. I (Kris, the channel owner) am its only user. This policy explains what it does with data from YouTube and Google.
What it accesses
With my permission, given through Google's sign-in screen, the tool uses the YouTube API Services to:
- read my channel's basic details and the list of videos I've uploaded (titles, video IDs, privacy status), so it can match each upload to the episode or Short it came from;
- upload videos I have reviewed and approved to my channel as private or scheduled, set the thumbnails I chose, and add episodes to my playlists (only once these permissions are granted).
It does not access anyone else's channel, comments, subscribers, viewer data or analytics.
What it stores, and where
- The video ID, URL and title of each of my own uploads, in a log file on my own computer, so the tool knows what's already been done and never uploads anything twice.
- The sign-in tokens Google issues, in a file on my own computer that is never shared or committed to version control.
Nothing is stored on a server. The data stays on my computer until I delete it.
Sharing
YouTube data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, analytics or training. The only thing that leaves my computer is the public link to one of my own published videos, which the tool posts to my own Discord server when a video goes out.
Google and YouTube terms
The tool uses the YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. The tool's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
Access can be removed at any time from the Google Account third-party access page. Deleting the token file on my computer also ends the tool's access.
Changes and contact
If what the tool does changes, this page will be updated and the date above changed. Questions: kris@cernji.com.
